Editorial review:

This busy hotel has just the right feel of luxury without being overwhelming. You can unwind in the evening at the Jasmine bar, which is always buzzing with interesting people, and even catch a film in the hotel’s movie theater. The sleeping rooms are super comfortable and sport a new hotel innovation; you can chose from a selection of pillows to find the one the suits you best. The service is very attentive and the hotel is decorated is a modern cozy style with comfortable traditional sofas and wood paneled wall coverings.

Immediately on arrival we were given a very friendly welcome. Our room was on the sixth floor and had a wonderful view of dublin's skyline. This hotel is in a perfect position for shopping, tourist sightseeing and excellent position for good restaurants in the evening without having to walk far. I cannot rate this hotel high enough and will be returning to Dublin and Brooks Hotel again very soon.

Brooks hotel is opposite a multistory car park and some rooms may look out onto this and therefore have no view.

      Comfortable, friendly, convenient

Taxis queuing in the street outside at 1 am, sounding their horns

I liked the convenience of the location. The room was very small with too much furniture and the electrical sockets were very hard to find. You had to go down on your knees to search - not easy for a mature couple

The rooms were clean comfortable, staff were friendly, rooms were in a good size, and free wifi was great!!

I wasnt too in love with the breakfest limited choices and not so tasty choices that were offered.

Location was wonderful. Really enjoyed the lovely and tasteful decor of all the common areas and dining areas. Also loved the room with king bed. The decor was lovely and even my husband commented how cozy the room felt. Pillow menu and candies on pillow each night at turndown were another small luxury that we enjoyed. All the staff were excellent - special mention for the restaurant staff at breakfast, though. They were superb. Finally, the breakfast we had each morning was absolutely fantastic. 10 out of 10.

We needed two rooms to accomodate our family (no problem). The second room was disturbed with some noise from outside. It seemed the window was slightly ajar even though it appeared to be shut so we clearly heard noise briefly each night coming from the back of the hotel (putting bottles outside, some talking etc). Also one morning out of 4 they forgot our wake-up call, and we almost missed the breakfast.

      Helpful staff. Nice central location.

Very noisy outside both nights of weekend about 1:30-3 AM, apparently after the bars closed. One night awakened by noise with windows shut, looked out and saw 2 men literally fighting in the street outside my window at 1:30 AM, front desk called the police and quiet afterwards. Windows did poor job of blocking the noise. Big, unattractive parking garage right across the street.
