This hotel has great views of the northern part of the Bund, the Huangpu River, and Pudong. It was built back in the 1930s as a block of apartments and was used later on by American officers after World War 2. The more expensive doubles on higher floors facing the Bund are recommended for their optimal views. Also recommended are the elegant executive guest rooms. All of the rooms feature broadband internet access, but it's pricey. There are discounts of up to 30% often available.

Nice view of river and Bund is just across the road. The hotel is a beautiful art déco building from the thirties and the staff is friendly. Clean room end sheets breakfast ok.

The location is excellent, the staff are polite and attentive.

The hotel is old, the lobby is extremely noisy as well and price to use the internet is ridiculously high. Breakfast should provide more choices for vegetarians.
