British Colonial Hilton Nassau Hotel - 拿骚

The hotel is located right in town so it's in a great location if you want to walk around and do some exploring.

We from our patio could see the cruise ships going and coming the hotel is in an excellent location close to the straw market and plenty of shopping.

The hotel itself has a great location in central Nassau - within walking distance of all of the amenties, and next to the local bus stops.

Taxis will be hanging by the hotel due to the demand (read: no wait time for a taxi).

The taxi trip was $22 from the airport to the hotel, so we timed our rental with taking it back to the airport.

Our first impression of the room was that it was pretty but rather small and the twin beds were a bit of a surprise (I have to admit I love sleeping in a big bed).

As a Hilton Gold member I was upgraded to large corner room with 2 queen sized beds and a very large bathroom with a seperate shower and bath.

The rooms were rather small in a l shape with only room for a queen bed.

The room was very small with a king size bed taking up a third of the room, but the bathroom was bigger than average.

When we did eventually check in later in the day, the room was OK, bed was a good size, the bath room was nice, the room was very small.

While we ate all our meals at sit down service restaurants, if you are on a budget you could get a take out $4 breakfast across the street, and lunch at a McDonalds if you wanted to “white bag” lunch at the pool.

Restaurants are a little expensive, but if you get a suite, you get access to the executive lounge; with that comes free breakfast and evening snack (can't call it a meal) included in the price of the room.

Yes it is expensive in the restaurant but after eating outside it seems that this is generally the case in most restaurants and the meals in hotel were lovely and we have no complaint at all as they were well presented and cooked to order.

Restaurants and food choices aren't plentiful, but the breakfast buffet was very good.

Another good restaurant to try is called the Shoal they specialize in traditional bahamian food try the Boiled fish grits and johnny cake for breakfast it is wonderful!

A little bit of mixup with another reservation we had made for my wifes grandparents, but it all got worked out, front desk staff was very courteous.

The bell staff and concierge were always friendly--so were the maids!

The service was good from the front desk, to the maid service & the conceirge.

The service was non existant if you asked for a manager the staff just told you he was out.

The grounds in general were really pretty - hammocks in the garden and the pool / beach and lobby were great.

The hotel has plenty of amenities (beach, fitness room, spa, restaurants and lounges) on site and is close to downtown for shopping and sightseeing.

There was always someone opening doors for us out front, hailing taxis for us, and the rooms were kept very clean.

The rooms are clean and the pool is heated.

The rooms were clean and spacious enough for 2 adults and 2 children.

Room quality - the room was definitely clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

This hotel was fine for we were looking for, staff was very nice and the rooms were clean.
