Clean bedding and firm mattress. Excellent buffet breakfast. Super location in Brighton - opposite pier and near shops.

Luke warm water for bath, and no bubble bath supplied. Fixtures and fittings in bathroom aged, considering I booked Superior double room.

The first time ever in my life including BB, budget hotels or 5 stars, toilet paper was not placed on holder during two-night stay. They were on the basin unit.

              Proximity to work

I stayed in a room with very little ventilation, Pigeon feathers and dust coming in to the room and dubious deposits in the jaccuzzi!

Nice oldworld feel, they should retain the heritage aspect & not modernize it into anonymity. Location couldn't be better.

Computer system failed with a full house, we all waited 4 hours to be checked in. Management was nowere to be seen, left the young frontline staff to handle the crisis. Surely not difficult to back up a system daily, & use a laptop if the system goes down? Poor IT management inconveniencing guests & making them lose precious time - not good enough!

the location is perfect, right opposite the Pier and close to town, the room was upgraded to a Jaccuzzi room at no extra charge, my bags were allowed to be kept locked away most of the next day after I had checked out, staff are excellent, dining room is nice and bright and so is lounge, I would deff stay here again and book through as room rates are the best!

maybe the layout of the hotels upper floors is abit confusing but just a small concern.

              Didn't like anything

I didn't like that I was given a room without a window and the breakfast room was like a school canteen. It overflowed into the lounge area and nothing was cleared away. I had to clear the table before I could put my breakfast on the table.

The room we had was a good size and the shower in the bathroom was good.

The breakfast was not good. Reheated items and the coffee was undrinkable.

              good location

very poor quality of the room for a 4 star hotel, wall paper comming loose, windows don't seal so very noisy and a dead pigeon in front of the window...

the location of this hotel is superb....and the last twice ive stayed we got a jacuzzi bath...

this hotel is a bit of a gamble...sometimes you get a good room sometimes you get a bad room but for the price its worth the gamble...

Everything was of a high standard for the price and bed was comfortable

The noise from aptly named 'revenge' nightclub...can't be good for business?

The location was perfect, really close to the Pier and looked great from the outside.Breakfast was pretty good.

I paid for a deluxe room which are supposed to be sea facing, it didn't have a sea view and it was tiny! The bed was also tiny and extremely squeaky! And it was boiling in the room - couldn't open the window any wider but based on the fact that it was only May, maybe very uncomfortable during the summer.

Room was great. Enjoyed the position - 353. Would definately stay there again.

The people waking me up at 4.00am after I asked for a 'quiet' room!

The room was clean and very comfortable, it had a great view of Brighton seafront

Not enough tv coveridge,as there were only 6 channels to choose from and not enough tea and coffees provided

When the room given to us was very hot the problem was soon solved as we were given another room straight away. The hotel was well placed for the conference centre, beach and town centre. The staff were freindly and helpful, worked very hard.

The hotel seemed a little sad as it was probably a very beutiful hotel which is now a little run down. There was not enough dietary information about the food served for breakfast. There was very little i could eat for breakfast as i have a dairy free diet + vegetarian. i asked if there was milk in the scrambled eggs and was told not on Monday, Weds. Friday.
