This hotel survives because there is a lack of hotel rooms in Aberdeen and the oil workers (99% of the guests) have companies which are willing to pay the ridiculous amount of money charged.
A good hotel reasonably price, staff helpful and the room was comfortable and spacious.
The hotel was clean, the price was very reasonable and the staff was very helpful.
This place is actually good value for a short stay in Aberdeen, and I believe they are in the process of modernising the hotel.
Good location near to city and the thing that i liked the best at Britannia Hotel Aberdeen was the downstairs pub.
The best thing about this hotel was 's location to the University of Aberdeen, the staff were pleasant and room itself was clean & comfortable.
We use the britannia regularly because is an ideal location for our needs and there wasn't a lot of good I can say about this hotel I'm afraid.
Location was good, hotel paid for taxi to airport and the staff were very pleasant.
Location – Ten minutes from the airport in the car & a further ten into the city – so well placed if you have wheels or an expense account.
The room was quiet but the bed was cheaply made and not at all comfortable.
Location was good and near to the airport, Reception was ok with a relatively quick check in, Room was spacious with an ok bed, view was awful looking over a back garden of some type.
Rooms were an ok size for a family of 3 but double bed had seen better days and had no springs in the middle!
The bathroom – good size, plenty of towels – shower over bath – the shower curtain had seen better days.
Hotel is adequate and the rooms are set well away from the function room.
Dinner and breakfast was just ok with a terrible atmosphere in the restaurant.
The bar meals in there were better than the hotels food, the service was very good and the bathroom was also spotless.
We did not eat in the restaurant, but en masse in a meeting room, and I was very pleased by the quality of food and the table service, better than many places I have been in.

I can recommend this hotel for those who are travelling for the same purpose, the hotel is located near the airport and the front desk staff are professional so you don?
The staff aren't great, the receptionist was pleasant enough on arrival and the bathroom was in such a disgusting condition that I made two compalints.
Easy access to hotel, reception staff are friendly and that our rooms are always a decent size.
From the outside it does look like the crossroads motel, and the entrance and lifts need a face lift, but the rooms were pleasant, and the swimming pool was well maintained.
I had been happy to be in the hotel is it had a gym and pool.
The leisure centre and pool are small and was just too busy to be bothered to use.
Not expensive for Aberdeen, friendly staff and the room was clean and peaceful.
Nice and clean room, the bar has a good selection of newspapers available for a leisurly post work pint.
A comfy big chair is a welcome addition too and the rooms are clean and spacious.
Rooms were clean and was told by the maitre d that the restaurant was.
Our room was spotless and well provided for in terms of toiletries.
