The hotel is also perfectly situated in a central location.

The location is superb, convenient for the centre of the city (and close to the airport bus route) but very quiet.

The location is great, you are close to the bus that will take you anywhere in this lovely city.

Get the bus from the airport and get off by Avenida metro station, it's a 2 minute walk from there.

The metro stop is very close - and the airport bus stops at the same place and it's easy to find.

Oh and the bed was incredibly comfortable, the room was beautifully decorated, large and immaculately clean, the bathroom well equipped with a bubbly bath of hot water available in moments, the street quiet, and the breakfast wide ranging and tasty.

The huge suite had two teraces, king size bed, tvs in both rooms and a very nice bathroom.

The standard room we stayed in was laid out like a mini-apartment: an entrance hall with mini-bar and tea/coffee facilities; bathroom and bedroom both off this little hall.

Down town Lisbon has quite a few people selling you their goods, so on some occasions you can expect people to approach you as you eat a meal as we mainly ate outside the restaurants.

The small bar and library area handles breakfast, coffee and pre/post dinner drinks well for small groups and it's generally a lovely small hotel.

Raquel at the front desk is the nicest, most helpful hotel employee I've ever encountered (albeit a bit too talkative) but I'm so sick of staff who act like they are burdened by questions (she never did).

Some websites call this a 3* hotel, possibly because it doesn't have a pool or other facilities, but I'd give it 5*.
