The value for money at Brit Hotel was excellent, with clean and comfortable rooms. The location was convenient, just a short walk to the amazing citadel, and the staff, especially Benoit, were friendly and helpful.
The morning meal could have been improved with more variety or options.

The staff at this hotel are absolutely amazing! They went above and beyond to make our stay incredible. The receptionist stayed late to make sure we could check in, and the manager even gave us free milk for our bedtime snack. The parking is so convenient, right by our room. The location is perfect for exploring the nearby medieval city. We loved the quietness of the hotel and the helpfulness of the staff. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of options. Our room was a GREAT size and perfect for our pet. we had a super enjoyable stay!

Very good value for money. Comfortable beds. Clean bathroom with bathtub. Free wifi Internet. Free parking on hotel parking lot, which is locked by a gate with password after 23:00h. (you can still open it with your password). Very very affordable.
If you don't have a car, it is a little far from the center of Carcassonne and the castle. But instead you have a good and cheap place to stay!

Convenient Location and Comfortable Stay
Easy to locate off the main road, this hotel is a great option for business travelers. The short distance to the city center, just 2.5km away, and decent local bakery are excellent features. The tea-making facilities provided in the rooms and easy parking make for a comfortable stay.
The outside door of the room was a plus for those traveling with pets, but it meant that there was no way to get fresh air in without leaving it open. During the night, some inconsiderate guests talking loudly in the corridors caused a disturbance.

Located on the outskirts of town, this hotel is a good option for those who want to stay near the historic citadel. If you have a car, the City Center is easily accessible. It's also recommended for watching the fireworks show. The room offers air conditioning and a renovated bathroom with plenty of towels and soap. Tea/coffee facilities are available in the room, and the staff speaks good English.
The room can be small for families with kids who need some space to move around.

Free parking and location were major reasons for choosing it, but in fact it is further from the walled city than it looks. Had to take the car and then had problems parking it anywhere near the fortress. Room comfortable and quiet and breakfast adequate.
Motel-style service, a bit impersonal, I was made to pay in advance. If you take a wrong turning driving into the city it is is difficult to find, and the locals give you wrong directions for the street, which they all think is in the modern city centre near the barracks of that name. But the problem is the poor signposting of Carcassone.
