The location was excellent for sea/promenade/shopping and restuarants. The staff were very friendly/excellent. Underground parking at hotel very useful. Beds were comfortable.

The bathrooms require updating and the outside of the hotel a lick of paint!. Breakfast was good but cold buffet could have been more comprehensive. Bar was not well stocked with hot drinks - they had run out of hot chocolate!.

The hotel is in a perfect location and the staff are very friendly. The breakfast was self service and there was plenty to eat.

There was no car parking available as advertised by Booked.net. The rooms were not soundproofed and there was a lot of noise from the street and you could hear other guests using the bathroom, shutting doors and walking past the door.

Ideal location reasonably priced, breakfast had excellent choice, restaurant staff attentive

Staff were polite although we tried to phone in advance with regards to parking and noone would answer the phone.clear explanations were given on procedures to breakfast.

views from the window were great although during the night it was very noisy, drunken people were passing and a busker playing tom tom drums.the windows were the old fashioned sash windows so didnt prevent the noise from penetrating inside. I know this cannot be prevented but i think it should be mentioned considering you have to pay extra for these rooms.

I thought the location was magnificent. The staff were unfailingly polite & friendly.

You need to improve your system for Reception handling evening arrivals of people booked through Booked.net. The two staff involved when I turned up at 11.45 pm were friendly but it took them 10-15 minutes to register me due to computer confusions about the link between Booked.net and the hotel's own system. Not amusing when all i wanted to do was get to bed.

Excellent location. Pleasant hotel providing all the basic amenities you require for a weekend break. Some of the previous reviews did worry me but it was generally a fine place to stay and provided us with everything we needed. Nice comfortable rooms. Pleasant bathroom with a really nice shower. Very polite and helpful staff. We got a fairly good price over a bank holiday so really we could have not expected anything better. You can't get a cheap deal and expect the Ritz...

It is a little worn down and the bed cover and cushions (not the sheets) are in need of a good clean or replacing but the sheets and pillows were clean as was the bathroom so nothing too scary for the price we paid. The bathroom in the hotel lobby was disgusting...

Everything went very smoothly, a room was available for early checkin, space in carpark etc. Hotel deliverd to all expectations

Service was generally very good with the exception of the bar staff from whom we ordered afternoon tea - ill informed and completely disinterested in serving customers. If this had been my only experience of the hotel, I would not have returned
