Overall, it's a very good value for the price (I paid the conference rate of $159 a night, plus taxes, which is really a steal for a big hotel in a big city these days).
I would definitely recommend this hotel-the price was also very reasonable.

Hotel is in a very good location, located in the Back Bay area and right next to the Copley Place shopping Mall and Prudential Centre, Newbury Street is only 2 blocks away.
Located in the Back Bay area, it is a very nice place in a great location which makes it easy to get just about anywhere.
Very well situated for all the tourist attractions and all in all this hotel is in a great location for everywhere in Boston.
The attached upscale mall has a subway station near the Westin, and is on the bus line.
On really hot days, we used the underground passage from Copley Place to Back Bay station to avoid going outside.
The king-size bed was extremely comfortable and the room and bathroom were appointed nicely.
The rooms are spacious and the bed very comfortable but they are trapped in a 70s time warp, particularly the bathroom.
Only when retiring for bed did we hear the loud hum of the hotel's air conditioning system - and was enough to request a room change at 11.
The bed was the new Revive bedding, which was nice, and the bathroom vanity/counter/mirror was new.
Good sized room with an extraordinarily comfortable bed, big picture windows, and a terrific view.
The Sushi bar is fabulous too, concierge lounge has adequate breakfast and the pool is quite nice.
The breakfast at the restaurant was good, but I was expensing it, otherwise we wouldn't have eaten there.
The buffet breakfast in the Marriotts restaurant was delicious with plenty to choose from.

There is a swimming pool, gym etc on the fifth floor.
Lobby was very nice, with a lot of people around, if you like to feel like you're part of the city, although there was always a wait for the elevators (which wasn't too bothersome.
Internet is wired, and strong… happy here.
They gave nothing for free -- you need to shell out an extra $10/day for wired internet.
My hotel room was spotless, and the other hotel areas were extremely clean as well.
