These apartments were very comfortable and a generous size for a family of 4. The apartment was well equipped and generally, we enjoyed our stay in the apartment, just not the service from the office staff. I gave a low mark for comfort only for the fact that for 2 days we were unable to shower in hot water.
The only negative was more to do with how we were treated by the staff. Firstly, when we received an email asking about our arrival time, we requested to check in a little early as we were travelling from Paris on an early train. Our children were playing at a recital thus we were dressed for the occasion when leaving Paris. We hoped to check-in after the noon recital so we could rest and freshen up as we had another musical appointment later that night. This request was received very favourably and we were given the ok to check-in 1 or 2 hours early. When we arrived at the office to pick up the keys, we were told that Natalia was not in the office that day and under no circumstances were we able to check-in until 3pm. We asked how long it would take to get to our apartment and were told and easy 10min walk. We then requested to come back at 2:50pm to pick up the keys so we could arrive at the apartment at 3pm. We were told a decided no, we were not able to pick up the keys before 3pm. We were sent off to visit the streets of London very well dressed. I will not go into all the details surrounding the issue, but suffice to say that for the 2 nights we were there we had no hot water for showers. We needed to boil water for a puddle in the bottom of the bath. On our first night we had not noticed the problem until it was too late in the evening, then on the second day a serviceman was sent out to fix the blown fuze and we were told to wait 2hrs for the water to heat up. By 10pm than night, the water had still not heated up and as we didn’t want to disturb anyone at that hour (including ourselves with a late night call out) we decided to boil the water again. Even though we had sent an email to the office, we needed to make a call to find out what was happening as we had no return email, or call although we left our mobile number. At the conclusion of our stay we sent an email stating our disappointment but have received no reply or any feedback.

I was pleasantly surprised by the size and quality of the appartment. It was well-equipped with pretty much everything that would be needed. There were some nice touches like a small table for children. I have booked another apartment for this week!
The location is fairly rough although the building itself is very nice. There were large groups of teenagers hanging around which was quite intimidating. While most of the budget Ikea furniture was excellent the bed was very hard and uncomfortable. Perhaps this is one area where money shouldn't be saved! Some basic toiletries (shower gel, shampoo) would be useful for those like me who are using this instead of a hotel for one night.

The apartment was clean and well maintained.
There was no iron in the apartment which meant moving around with rumpled clothing. The punitive cost of contacting thr staff to remedy any issues meant careful consideration before contacting them.
