Hotel Bonconte Urbino

Nice and quiet location on the city walls, in a very pleasant hotel, most of the staff were friendly.

Excellent location and beautiful and tranquil hotel.

The location was great and found the hotel improved this time.

We were assigned to a poky little garret under the eaves, with only a tiny window barely a foot square.

We arrived in Urbino by bus from Perugia -- not a easy thing to do -- and found that the hotel was on the other side of town from the bus stop -- and would have required a long hot trip with luggage up the cobblestoned hill to reach the hotel.

The garden was a nice setting for, the room was only just big enough for a double bed.

But beyond this, the room was only just big enough for a double bed.

The bathroom was so small there was no room for a shower stall, only one narrow door to keep the rest of the bathroom from flooding while taking a shower.

The location was excellent and the individual air-conditioner of the room was much appreciated as cut out noise from the usual ventilation of most hotels.

Wonderful views from bedroom windows and great value.

The hotel's balcony has an exquisite view, really helpful staff and excellent breakfasts in pleasant breakfast room.

They laid out a nice breakfast for us and the garden was a nice setting for it.

In response to our complaints it was agreed that breakfast would be provided gratis.

The breakfast was one of the better we had the entire trip (amazing fresh eggs you could tell were straight off the farm).

After more discussion with Bonconte, they agreed to give us a parking pass and our breakfast at their hotel.

Really peaceful stay and the staff was very helpful and attentive.

Responsive and friendly staff, a luxurious shower.

The (different) person at reception was able to get some of the lights working within a short time, but this episode did not improve our opinion of the Bonconte Hotel.

Location within old city walls made for a great atmosphere and the staff was helpful.

Swimming in the cute swimming pool under hot tuscany sun was very relaxing.

Beautiful panoramic view, just a few steps from the main town square and parking was surprisingly convenient since the hotel is within the historic city walls.

The first night, spent at La Meridiana was most satisfactory, in a very pleasant hotel with a swimming pool, which surprisingly rated only 3 stars.

The rooms are not glamorous or luxurious, but perfectly large enough, nice and clean.

The room itself was simply but very tastefully furnished, very clean.
