Bolton Hotel Wellington - 惠灵顿

The only downside is the location - it's close to the Bee Hive and the downtown CBD, but a bit of a trek to the bars and restaurants of Cuba/Courtenay.

The hotel is in a quiet location, one block from The Terrace (major street) and close to shopping, attractions and the train station.

The hotel is in a great location for tourist and business travellers, just a 5-10min walk from Parliament building.

The railway station is an easy 2 - 3 min walk away and the airport bus stops about a 1 minute walk away.

She also arranged to have the rental agency pick the car up at the hotel the day we departed, so we didn't have to make two trips to the airport.

We had the two bedroom suite each time, which is really like a small apartment - one room with a king bed and a huge bathroom, the other bedroom with two comfy twin beds and another bath with a shower.

Another large TV in the bedroom, with plenty of storage and very comfortable bed, and large bathroom with separate bath and shower.

We were delighted when we walked into our room and found it had good seating areas, a decent-sized bedroom with king bed, and a huge bathroom.

There is a choice of studio, premium studio, 1 and 2 bed apartments.

We had a 1 bed apartment as we arrived without a booking and all studios were taken.

I ordered room service and food and service was great, Breakfast in the restaurant was very nice.

The reception area, guest lounge and bar are all cramped into a small space downstairs with the restaurant on the mezzanine level above.

Once again the bar staff were very friendly, we had a lovely dinner at the restaurant.

The coffee bar in the lobby, Cafe Brioche, serves up tasty mochacchinos and yummy breakfast treats.

Restaurant has varied, interesting and creative menu for dinner and breakfast.

We found the staff at reception and breakfast very friendly and helpful.

The staff understood the business needs of service at check in to facilitate meeting appointment times travelling, didn't try the restaurant and the facilities are fantastic.

The pool, jacuzzi and gym were very good (and quiet).

Staff were helpful, swimming pool small but pleasant and nice jacuzzi which confusingly is called a Spa in NZ.

Also rooms were peaceful and quiet, the pool/gym facilities were great.

Wireless Internet is available, although it can be a bit costly.

The Bolton strikes us as a business hotel, which may be why they charge an exorbitant fee for wireless Internet connection.

The rooms (as well as the hotel) are clean, fresh, modern, and sophisticated.

They'd moved our personal belongings in order to clean the room and left us feeling really uncomfortable.

Bolton was a great hotel with helpful staff and clean modern rooms.

Yes, the rooms are huge, clean, and included high end hotel appliances.

The room was very clean, comfortable and well appointed.
