    Room value: I found a AAA rate on the hotel's own reservation site and it was better than rates I found on other booking sites.

    UVa should get out of the hotel business; in fact, UVa should get out of the money business altogether & stick to what it does best: education.

    The hotel was in a great location for sightseeing, we would recommend a ride along the Skyline.

    Excellent location to UVA, the hotel is a sort of nice and the staff at this large resort is professional.

    Our room was beautiful overlooking the lake, the whole site was quiet and the hotel was in a great location for sightseeing.

    The location cannot be beat and the hotel itself is beautiful.

    Our stay here seemed to be over all too soon, the drive back to Dulles airport took about 2 hours.

    Our room was very nicely decorated and the bed was comfortable although the bathroom was a bit small.

    Our room was on the 2nd floor though it was large, spacious, very nicely furnished and the 4 poster bed was firm and comfy and the bathroom with the marble sink was a good size too.

    The bed and pillows were not that comfortable, but the room was spotless and well decorated.

    The room is fairly small, the TV is old, the bed was fairly firm, the linens are fair quality, and the overall feel was not luxury.

    I had a king size bed,the room was big it had its own varanda.

    For our breakfast we walked to the sports bar, here they had a good range of healthy snacks, juices etc.

    We had breakfast both days and poolside lunch service; each meal was good and you can't beat the buffet breakfast in the Mill Room!

    With so many diverse restaurants in town, we did not eat other meals at the Inn.

    We very much enjoyed the breakfast buffet and had a wonderful dinner at the restaurant.

    The Inn itself (including the restaurant and bar/pation area) and the grounds make up for that to some extent and it is still definitely worth a visit.

    It was romantic, clean, and the service was great at the front desk, the cleaning staff, and the restaurants.

    The welcome was great by the staff and service was excellent.

    Service was excellent (staff can’t do enough for you) but the place is old.

    Food were superb, we loved the pool that was near the spa.

    It would have been a long walk past many parking lots to get to a swimming pool.

    After spending the morning at the private, quiet pool at the spa we.

    Also included high-speed internet for your laptop.

    The room was very clean and sized nicely.

    The staff is very friendly and the rooms are very clean.

    The staff was very gracious and helpful, the room was very clean.

    Nearly 2 hours later it was clear the dehumidifier wasn't going to take care of the humid conditions so we went to the front desk and requested another room.

    Our room was lovely, clean, welcoming and comfortable.

      The staff kind and considerate, a very comfortable bed. That's all we've got- so much for the luxurious robes and the superb food. Two light dinners and nice providing local maps. The outdoor pool.

      Very comfortable bed, the Inn also provides complimentary tea and the main resataurant also offers a wide choice of starters. Great spa.

      Delicious restaurants, beautiful views, attentive staff, unique and comfortable rooms. It was romantic, clean, and the service was great at the front desk, the cleaning staff, and the restaurants.

      The surroundings beautiful and the lake was lovely. Atmosphere was nice, pool near the building were well-kept and the front desk staff was wonderful and professional. The bathroom was good, the variety of free newspapers was a plus and the food in the Inn was Fantastic the best I have had served of in Virginia.

      Pillows were not that comfortable and two of the towels were not fully clean. Check-in was painfully slow.

      The view was amazing and our room had a lovely balcony overlooked the lake. The welcome was great by the staff and service was excellent. Our suite was fabulous, bars were very good and the buffet breakfast was delightful.

      We arrived at the Inn just before 9pm after a long drive and very large sports center on site as well. The tranquil setting and much better facials for the price. The service is professional and smug employees have sloppy work ethic at best. Most rooms overlook a lovely pond and the food is great.

      Lugging your bags into the buildings is not easy and the robes would not fit anyone over 10 years old. Surprising that spa samples are not provided as part of the tolietries.

      Beautiful drive down to Charlottesville from, nice market/coffee shop just down the road and welcoming place to relax for a couple of days before continuing on. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are very clean. The food is wonderful and burnley's dessert wines are good. The Spa is fabulous.

      The drive up is beautiful and located as is in historic Charlottesville. The Boars Head Inn is a wonderful place to stay and service is quite attentive. The rooms are nice, a fantastic health facility that is used by the UVA tennis teams.
