Loved everything about this hotel. The staff are so friendly. Building is beautiful as is the interior decoration. Rooms are very comfortable and breakfast is great. Always great buzz about the place and close to all the shopping.

My only gripe was that the wifi signal was too weak in my room (355). However I could use it in the lobby etc.

Location, history of the building, staff were good, harris Tweed promotion, quiet room, comfortable bed

Brothel / burlesque decor - even if tongue in cheek this does not do the Hotel or their staff or clients credit - reason for the non recommendation below. Not a moral objection just distasteful / inappropriate

Excellent spa, nice rooms, friendly staff, good location and not overpriced, good value for money

              The bar is fantastic

Very very nice hotel but the rooms are dark the lighting is rubbish. I seen other people have said the same. Its a shame as I don't think I would use your hotel again because of this reason sorry

              location, spa

Excellent hotel, shame about the lighting in the room. The lighting in the room was absolutely inadequate - the room was the darkest I've ever stayed, impossible to read or find anything in the wardrobe

            • Older travelers

Excellent diner, for a very reasonable price. Nice wisk(e)y selection as well. Rooms are very nice, but bathroom shows 'design' issues: not enough hooks to hang stuff on, fixed rain shower, and bath which ensures water is spilled into the room.

The creative design and the unique aspects in keeping with the history of the rac club theme. An experience of luxury and contemprary without being too elitest. The rooms were contemparry and sophisticated in design, and well spaced with no noise from other guests or the fact that you where in a city location. The best mini bar I have ever seen. Complimentary Tunnocks Tea cakes. What a knock out! I am a fellow Glaswegion and it was a delight to visit my home city in such luxury, with well placed scottish touches subtley throughout. The staff albeit diverse and of different ages were friendly and happy. Overall a gem of a botique hotel and the breakfast range was abundant. We will stay again and highly recommend. Thank you and please keep up the quality and high standards,

My only observation and comment is that younger staff who are obvioulsy still under training, should be more effectivey supervised. On our arrival we had a very under confident receptionist who kindly directed us to our room, but failed to run through any of the services and we had to ask about breakfast location and timings. He appeared to be in a hurry to get back to reception.

The staff were very helpful & knowledgeable. Accommodation very good.

We thought that the seating in the salon bar wasn`t very comfortable, for us, but the staff were excellent.

Stylish Hotel. Relaxed pleasant atmosphere. Attentive Staff. Enjoyed the fact that there were few children there (even though I am a Mother of 4 Myself!).

For some reason stv was unavailable and although the Reception said they would ring back and tell us the reason - they failed to do so, Thus I missed my Fav soap!!

Blythswood Square was the perfect choice for me on this particular visit to Glasgow. I was relaxed knowing the staff were thoroughly professional, approachable and helpful; their welcoming smiles were a treat. I had wanted to experience the Spa, which I did; a subterranean warren of luxury. On the strength of this overnight visit to Blythswood Square, I will have no hesitation in booking again and, hopefully, for an even longer visit. The hotel offered value for money, quality of service, food and decor. Thank you.

The spa, restaurant and cocktail bar

We stayed two nights, for the second night the bed was made up but housekeeping did not put fresh bedding on, they left on the same bedding as the night before.
