A great hotel at a great price and friendly staff.
Other than that, this hotel was a very good value.
As far as I'm concerned, the price of the hotel and it's location were just right, and the pool was an added bonus.
Nothing special, but the price was right if booked directly through the hotel.
The location was good, the hotel/motel was located in a convenient spot easy to get to clean /hot showers comfortable beds and the price was very reasonable for Victoria.
This is a great location at a good price.
Convenient location and either - a quick car or bus ride away.
We arrived at Victoria bus station and the Blue Ridge Inn was located about 2 miles out of town (so a long walk).
Also, the 70 bus back to the ferry block stops one block away although that was a 15-minute hike with heavy bags.
The hotel has now upgraded to free wireless internet, good service and the bed in the room was AWESOME.
We traveled to Victoria with his aunt and uncle and booked a suite: living room/bedroom, kitchenette, shower, and separate bedroom.
There are several room choices from very simple to a two bedroom suite.

The room was clean and comfortable and the beds were very comfortable.
One of Victoria's best, the restaurant next to the motel's lobby serves good breakfasts and the staff was super friendly.
Also, there was a Denny's restaurant a short walk down the street where we had a wonderful breakfast.
There is a small shopping mall across the road and two restaurants practically on site.
There are several restaurants within walking distance.
For food, there is a KFC and a diner next door if you need something quick.
The staff at reception were very friendly and helpful, the room did get hot due to only having small windows.
Service staff excellent, big TV and free coffee.
Comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful, 24 hour free internet use in reception was a nice touch.
Apparently no staff had checked the online reservations for several days!
There is a swimming pool and sauna in a building in the parking lot.
My kids loved the pool & sauna and the suite was very spacious and well kept.
The free Internet connection in the lobby helped us weigh up the different whale watching options.
Very helpful young gentleman at the reception, spotless room and has a swimming pool - really well maintained.
