Blue Moon Hotel Miami Beach - 迈阿密海滩

The location was great, just one block from the beach so there were lots of pubs, eating places and shops nearby.

Fab location as its minutes away from ocean drive, lincoln ave e.

Nice little art deco hotel in a very convenient location.

We were able to save a lot of taxi cab money because of this hotel's prime location.

I recomend you 100% because taxis in miami are very expensive.

We had booked and been guaranteed a king-size room and when we checked in the room had one twin bed, was extremely small and the bathroom had no tub -- just a shower that was only separated from the bathroom with a shower curtain.

The room we were in was 204 it was very quiet as no-one is next to you, behind the bed side and the bathroom separates you from the next bedroom so we couldn't hear anyone else at all.

We reserved through Booked.net a double room, but boy were we in for a surprize when we arrived not only did we have to wait 3 hours to get our room, they never had double rooms they only have room with either 2 twin beds or 1 queen bed.

The room was spotless, the bed was clean and turned down, the bathroom is beautifully decorated and clean as well.

Speaking of rooms - unlike most hotels I've stayed at, the rooms seem to vary drastically with mine coming with bath, walk in closet, single queen bed and a funky big desk.

The food service/restaurant and bar were non-existent.

We were in the annex building; the main building has a gentle muzak-style bar and restaurant.

The beach is one block away and gorgeous, this restaurant is one of the best cuban restaurants in the city.

A free drink at the bar betweeen 6 and continental breakfast is 7-10 am.

The elevator is also a trial so try to pack light, a happy hour drink at the bar and the restaurant can be a high Priced.

On the day I checked out I asked to speak with the manager again, he was called and told the staff at the front desk he didn't want to deal with this.

The staff was really great, the the night doorman, Mario, is so friendly and Anna, one of the front desk receptionists, is sooo pleasant.

For example of the service, one morning our toilet was not flushing (b/c of too much toilet paper) and I called to the front desk and 5 minutes, it was fixed!

The pool that was advertised was really a large Jacuzzi they call a "Spa" pool.

We enjoyed the spa pool, even pointing out to another guest who had been there longer that there was a control for "jacuzzi" type jets in the pool.

Has a jacuzzi area in the pool that's also good.

Our room could use a fresh coat of paint and the room's A/C was a bit loud, but it was clean and it has a great view overlooking Collins Avenue, a main strip in South Beach.

Hotel is kept clean, the staff couldn’t have been more kind and our room could use a fresh coat of paint.

The hotel is itself a great art deco building, and being of the era, yes the rooms are on the small side, but they are modern and impeccably clean.

The hotel itself is uniformly clean and well looked after and the aircon systems, while seemingly different from room to room, will certainly keep you at the right temperature.

The room was a bit frayed but was clean, well lighted, and, for the South Beach area, reasonably quiet.
