The bed was comfortable, and the room itself was big. The hotel had an excellent location, near a railway station.

This was a marvellous and lovely location just off pubs, clubs, restaurants, shopping, cinema, and a park, pretty with lovely Spanish music playing in the background, and beautiful shops, restaurants and cafes. Moreover, the hotel was within access to a colchester castle.

Well, internet connection was weak.

The breakfast is freshly prepared with yoghurt and fresh ingredients, for instance, lots to choose from. Whatever you need is this pleasantly furnished and a decent size room with aircon, a comfy bed, for example.

Enjoyed this small hotel, and we will come back. We had a delicious and good breakfast with fresh ingredients, juice plus fish dishes included.

The standard double room was beautifully presented with comfy beds, tea/ coffee, as example. The breakfast was fresh and great and provided with fish dishes and fresh ingredients, as example.

Its location was perfect, very close to Colchester, and can easily walk into town.

The beds were exceptionally comfortable and the room had a work desk, coffee/tea making facilities, and a TV. The breakfast was fresh, offering toast, juice, and yogurt. The hotel is in a great location, close to everything.

The location was excellent, close to a main street and historic sites. There was a tapas restaurant nearby.

All in all everything was very comfortable, had an outstanding stay for two nights.The staff was very professional, solved all problems we had.The location was convenient - close enough to beautiful shops, restaurants and cafes nearby, and all attractions and the lovely Colchester shopping centre.Tapas bar was fabulous.

Possibly the best and outstanding stay for four nights. Perfect location in a good area next to pubs, clubs, restaurants, shopping, cinema, and a park, all attractions and the lovely Colchester shopping centre and cinema. Easy walk to Colchester Town Hall.

I liked that this place was not too far from the city center and close to some cool attractions. I also had a yummy meal at a nearby tapas restaurant. The room was awesome – spacious with a bathroom, a cozy double bed, and even air conditioning.
