Blue Chairs Beach Resort

The hotel is located in a great location in front of the gay beach in Playa de los Muertos.

What your will find is a superior location, the front door opening to the gay beach and famous blue chairs.

This was a perfect location for the beach and the beach cafe had great food and drinks hand delivered!

We also stayed at an expensive gay villa, WAY overpriced considering it takes 15 minutes to get to the beach by taxi.

By the way, despite what another reviewer wrote, using the hotel airport transportation is not a better deal.

Just give me a clean room with a comfortable bed and hot shower and I am good to go.

The room was clean enough and the bed was just fine.

The room that i was in was a beach front room with a king size bed.

CONs: noisy within the hotel; late, late noise in halls(from drunk guests); room doors slamming shut; king size bed that was way to soft; flat sleeping pillows; beat-up room funishings.

The staff always friendly, a better bed and cabaret bar has a drag show designed in the 1970s.

Also their restaurant had very poor service and it was totally not worth it, I recommend you walk up the beach and try one of the other fine restaurants facing the beach which are much nicer and their food is superb.

You can eat breakfast, and lunch and have drinks on the beach, in nice chairs w umbrellas.

The restaurant never has half the items, the bar is expensive and serves watered down drinks.

The hotel is five stories with a rooftop pool, restaurant and bar with nightly entertainment.

The pool on the premise is a "wading" pool and is situated roof top with food being served and an adjacent bar.

The front desk staff aren't exactly rude, just bored.

Services are lacking, but the staff is friendly.

Their front desk staff was rude (they were in a chat room while working).

The hotel employees were very friendly, the wait staff remembered our names and what we liked.

The drinks are cheap and strong, the pool their is awesome.

The rooftop pool is a tiny wading pool with so many tables crammed around it no one would want to swim in it.

It as renovated last year (looked great) and the pool their is awesome.

Puerto vallarta was great, the staff there was excellent too and the room was clean enough.

Our room was clean and had a kitchenette, as well as a balcony and nice view.

The PROs: very close to the beach (just steps); friendly staff; clean rooms; good A/C; walking distance to dining, clubs, and shops.

We went to it this trip and the owner showed us a room and they are nicely done and very large and clean.

The rooms were clean and simply furnished with just the basics.
