Hotel Blaumar Salou - 萨洛

The location and standard of the hotel are excellent.

The location is superb - the beach is across the road and shops within a couple of minutes walk.

Great location, the beach itself very clean and we were near everything in Salou.

It is also very easy to get to the hotel from the nearest airport (Reus) via bus or taxi.

Taxis in Salou show fare to Reus Airport at 31 euros.

The room itself was like a mini apartment, there was a separate bedroom with a large bed and lounge area with seating that comfortably slept two children (with a pull out bed for a third - suitable for child or adult).

There was a bedroom with 2 single beds and a pull-out bed, kitchen and living room with a pull-out double bed.

The suite was very clean and there is a daily maid service to make beds, mop the floors, clean the bathroom, change towels ect.

The room was a corner apartment with two bedrooms, a kitchen a living area and a stretching balcony overlooking the sea.

We didnt book for food, and chose to buy from the supermarket for breakfast, but eat out for lunch and dinner.

The hotel has a cafe at the front of the hotel, a poolside bar and an A La Carte restaurant.

There was a large selection of buffet food for both breakfast and dinner.

The only moan about the food was that the cooked breakfast was only ever lukewarm.

Breakfast was nice, though really busy and the food is spread out all over the place which can get annoying.

Rooms were spotelss, staff (cleaning, reception, restaurant) all staff were more than helpful & quite friendly.

Excellent service and dining room spotless waiting staff lovely.

The reception staff are pleasant and helpful and speak a good mix of English and French, from my experience, and Spanish of course!

Go to the hotel spa and enjoy the sauna,steamroom and gym, it's all free.

Unless travelling a lot car hire is to be avoided as car parking is at a premium.

The balcony was large and pool was very nice.

Our room was spotless, breakfast was nice and the pool was clean.

Staff were very accommodating, rooms were nice and pool was also spotless.

All the staff very friendly, clean the bathroom and le buffet était excellent et les enfants l’ont ador.

Visit restaurant Arena -located in the hotel building- one of the best in salou, staff are friendly and helpful, rooms are clean.

The Hotel itself is very clean, all the staff are happy and the room sizes are good.
