Comfortable for what I wanted - restaurant good, rooms adequate - Wi Fi worked 2 days out of 3.

I liked everything but I only stayed one night and did not use many of the facilities so I cannot comment on all that much. Breakfast very good.

    Shower did not work.

Relaxation following a busy, hard-working day the day previous, performing an evening concert at The Blaby Social Centre 5 minutes away - Made full use of pool facilities. Great food and location for our needs.

    Nothing not to like!

The hairdryer in the bathroom was too hot to hold. Neither of the phones in the room worked so calls had to be made using a mobile which was a pain as outside calls do not get answered. I asked twice for someone to look at the phones but I was just ignored. Room service food was bad - food was cold and wine was warm. The room was far too hot and no fans were available. I asked for an iron and an ironing board which took 3 hours to locate and I needed it there and then. On the gym, 2 out of the 4 treadmills don't work and the foot straps on one of the rowers does not work which makes if impossible to use. The staff member on reception is rude, stand offish and makes you feel like he is doing you a favour letting you stay there. When I asked for the iron he answered by saying 'room?' Nothing else.

Rooms were of decent size and well equiped, the shower was weak.

There was no sense of service, the staff just seemed poorly led. Every day our room only had one towell, they forgot to top up the tea and coffee on 3 out of 5 days and getting front desk to answer the phone was almost impossible. There are 4 treadmills in the Gym and 2 were faulty. Generally it could be a very good hotel but seems badly managed, just lacking the "can be bothered factor"

The night porter was very obliging and opened up the bar when a party of us arrived very late and very thirsty. ALthough he was the only person on duty he was very good.

Disappointed I coundnt use the swimming pool. I have osteoarthritis and cannot use the metal ladder. I can only use a pool, if it has graduated steps. Also the restaurant was very understaffed and breakfast on the second morning was by any standards chaotic.

The evening receptionist (blonde hair with black streak) was pleasant.

Old & tired furnishing & room smelt like a public toilet!

The room was excellent-large and very comfortable and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially the young lady who was on duty in the bar and restaurant the evening we arrived.

When we ordered dinner there were several important ingredients of some of the dishes unavailable-which rather defeated the object of the offered dishes.

Good clean room, excellent internet, Also the girl on reception was very welcoming & informative (not sure of her name but she had blonde hair with a black streak)

I was looking forward to using the pool, but it appeared to be out of use

The receptionist was very unwelcoming and did'nt make us feel comfortable at all. The shift manager was very nice though.

Free wireless internet. Plenty of car parking spaces.

Room was not 100% clean (dusty). Lack of plug sockets. Poor breakfast service- not enough staff on duty and took ages to come round to table to take order.

    bedroom spacious

reception staff kept changing and some were more helpful than others. Bathroom disappointing: shower dripped and door kept falling open

Booked the hotel as there was a swiming pool there. The pool was shut. I wopuld not have stayed there if I knew this. I should have been told when I booked or an e-mail sent to me offering other hotel.

Car Parking facilities with cctv - overall ambience of reception

The single room I had was tiny and so compact that to brush your hair in the mirror resulted in banging your elbows on the trouser press. The cleaner hoovered outside my room rediculously early and woke me. The walls were thin and every noise from the corridor could be heard. The bed was uncomfortable and there was no clock at all in the room.
