He was quite familiar to the neighborhood, so it was not a surprise the convenient location of this hotel, 2 or 3 streets from Charles St.
Close to the city centre just 3 stops south on the Light Rail and the hotel is in a perfect location.
On the plus side, the location is in a nice quiet neighborhood.
Il connaissait assez bien le quartier, donc il n’a donc pas été surpris par l'emplacement pratique de cet hôtel, à 2 ou 3 rues de Charles Street et à moins de 10$ de taxi de Penn Station.
Near the free-bus stop, as well as the streets and most of was good was outside the hotel.
We booked a room with a queen size bed and got a mini suite instead.
I traveled with family, and on a positive note, my room offered a large layout with king bed, sitting area, kitchenette, and bathroom.
My room had a sitting room (with a daybed and TV) and a separate bedroom along with the bathroom.
The room we got was a big bed room, with a small kitchenette, table for two and a sofa.
Most of the furniture was Salvation Army rejects and the bed was really old and sagged badly, but thankfully, no bedbugs.
The original elevator was charming the first time we rode and the continental breakfast was ready every morning.
We didn't have breakfast and were quick to leave the next morning.
There's no place good to eat within safe walking distance.

Our first impression of the service was a little bit cold, but then most of the staff have a good service attitude.
to stay at and the front desk staff were quite polite.
Decoration had old-fashioned character, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the owner were extremely attentive.
Made access to other areas easy, the hotel was charming and the service was excellent.
The ""elevator"" is an old service lift, barely holds 2 people and isn't operational half the time, requiring you to climb the stairway to get to your floor.
I had no idea before our vacation to Baltimore that personal safety, parking, and finding someplace safe to eat within walking distance from the hotel would end up being my top priorities for my next vacation.
Lovely old buildings and the lobby was very nice.
The room was neat & clean, but the walls are very thin.
I loved the classic style of the hotel, the staff were very nice and the bathroom was clean.

The room was clean, but the room and the hallways had a air-freshener scent that remained in my bags and clothes after I returned home.
