The location is great for a quick 1-night stopover enroute, a classic diner/trucker restaurant right across the street and the place does not give you a very good feeling.

We like the location because it is right off of several main routes.
Recently stayed at this location with only internet reviews to go on.
One bonus for travelers is that it's next door to a gas station and an awesome --yes, I mean it-- truck stop cafe called dysarts.
I called this hotel at the last minute and was given a newly refurbished room with a fire place, a huge bed and a massive bathroom.
We had a huge second floor room with a fireplace, couch, desk, chair and king size bed.
Not sure if this is representative of all the rooms, but this room was amazing (I think it might have been a suite of some sort, so you might want to inquire) and it was at a very reasonable rate ($80).
The room was quite big and the king size bed had plenty of pillows.
The bathroom is small and dark and has toilet and tub only which didn't really bother us.
This allows you to park at your door for convenient unloading & loading, and still have easy, storm-free access to the lobby, bar, breakfast and other amenities.
The breakfast, which was adequate was in the basement bar room.
The other great thing about it is the Truck Stop Restaurant next door serves really good food at a decent price and the portions are good sized portions.
And I LOVED the idea of the truck stop restaurant next door, although we were too exhaused from our drive to even eat.
I then had to leave my breakfast and take my more than capable daughter to the washroom att the end of the dining room.
The front desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful, the room was clean and big, the breakfast was good.
The staff, especially the front desk staff, is always pleasant to deal with and they are always accomodating.
The service at the restaurant was excellent and all of the staff at Dysart's were caring friendly people.
The girl at the front desk was friendly, but we didn’t get the ground floor room, which we had asked with our reservation.
The gym is beautiful -- all new equipment and there is a jacuzzi which we did not use.
And, yes, they still have those yummy choc chip cookies in the lobby.
