Convenient location to my destination and elevated train are only 2 - 3 blocks away.

The Metra line was about 2-3 blocks away, the price was great for the location and i was pleasantly surprised by the quality.

I stayed the Best Western University Plaza because of its location and its price.

After circling the block once we realized it was the dark and dingy underground lot we passed several times.

The hotel is located near the edge of Evanston, which puts it within comfortable travel distance to Michigan Avenue and the Loop, but you'll still need to hail a cab or take the L.

Clean room, comfortable bed, reasonable room size.

I returned to the front desk after looking at my room to let them know that it appeared my bathroom had not been cleaned, and commented that the beds were some of the least comfortable I'd seen.

All new bathroom fixtures, feather beds and comforters, new carpeting and furniture.

It was large with a king sized bed, a desk, a loveseat and coffee table, and tv armoire.

At check in to room #803 the following were inoperative: Television (no picture), Internet access (did not function), toilet (flush mechanism disconnected), and door lock.

Did not use restaurant, as there are many great restaurants in Evanston.

The breakfast buffet is located where the hotel used to operate a restaurant which is now closed.

Within walking distance there are many great Evanston restaurants, so not having a hotel restaurant didn't bother me at all.

They only serve a continetal breakfast, no lunch or dinner.

I did not eat at the restaurant either, but I don't see why you would when there are so many excellent choices to eat so near the hotel.

The hotel room was reasonably clean, the front desk staff was very friendly and the shower never got hot hot water.

Front desk staff did trick us into paying for parking by telling us we couldn't use the free street parking - when we in fact could.

The fitness room was closed throughout my stay, and the outdoor pool was empty.

The lobby, elevators and hallways were all just the basics, and kind of unpleasant in feeling.

There is a seasonal pool, a continental breakfast, free USA Today in the morning, wireless internet, a small fitness center, small business center, and some relatively nice meeting rooms.

The wireless Internet doesn't connect and the cable internet has glitches that made it impossible for me to send, though I could receive.

The bathroom was clean, and the shower head was strong.

Nice clean hotel, large bathroom and a continental breakfast.

Evanston is a gorgeous area itself, this place should be an embarrassment to the Best Western organization and rooms have always been clean.

The hotel room was reasonably clean but the "feel" of the hotel is dark and depressed.

Overall, the room was ok, clean and adequate for the purpose we needed it.
