The Flume Restaurant in the hotel is supposed to be one of the best in town and our dinner was excellent, although we thought it was slightly overpriced.
We agree with another Trip Advisor writer that the newer section would probably have been nicer, but the great staff, good location and good restaurant make this an acceptable place to stay.
Not a bad choice in a tourist town, good location not far from Carlsbad caverns and i decided to stay at the Best Western.
The pluses are the restaurant, size of rooms and location.
We stayed in a two queen bed suite that had a small living room/kitchen area with a couch and a table with four chairs.
On the plus side, the rooms were so large that a crib or roll-away bed could easily fit in them and still leave plenty of room to move around.
We had a king-sized bed in a really huge room.
There was a TV in the living room and one in the bedroom, but only one remote, which did not work.
Everything worked, the staff was pleasant, the bed and towels were poor.
The hot buffet breakfast in the restaurant was good, with fresh fruit, scrambled eggs, bacon, biscuits & gravy, and the standard cereals and breads, and this was complimentary for hotel guests.
Furthermore the hot buffet breakfast in the restaurant was good and the pool was very nice.
Although the property has a very nice restaurant and a good breakfast buffet, the rooms are old, musty and badly need to be updated.
The restaurant is quite good food, which is where we ate for dinner.
We had breakfast at the dining room and they had a buffet of pancakes, bacon and eggs, etc.
The dining area was pretty fancy, hotel staff was very nice and jonathan at the front desk was extremely accomodating.
The decor was beautiful and the staff was helpful and friendly.
They gave us a greatly discounted rate and thier staff treated us extremely well.
BEST HOTEL IN THE AREA and staff was responsive and nice.
A nice amenity was a computer in the lobby for guest use.
We soon discovered that the Jacuzzi didn’t work.
I stepped into the motel lobby and was impressed with its decor.
Room was large and clean, the buffet breakfast was very good.
The bath was a 5-piece and also very clean.
The room we chose was very large and adequately clean.
Friends had to request a room change because their room was not clean and smelled strongly of smoke.
While the rooms were very large and clean, the furnishings and rooms themselves had seen alot of wear.
