Best Western Station House Inn South Lake Tahoe - 南太浩湖

You are situated about two blocks away from Heavenly Village (which is nice since it's a bit congested with traffic , so this location is nice and quiet) and two blocks from the Lake.

Good quiet location close to Heavenly Village, staff are great - for this budget and free high-speed internet access is another added bonus.

But if you don't mind being so close to so many other tourists, then the location is otherwise fine.

We were on the bottom floor and there was pretty significant thumping from foot traffic above us as is typical of older hotels.

If you are considering the Station House Inn, I (obviously) highly recommend it.

We stayed in the "California Suite" which featured a non-smoking room, king size bed & hot tub.

The bathroom had a bath (with shower) and the toilet, however, in the American hotel fashion, the wash hand basin is outside the bathroom, adjoining (but not separated from) the main bedroom area.

Our room was spotless, not completely renovated but it had an updated bathroom, clean carpets and a comfortable bed.

The room was comfortable with the exception of the bed; my husband has back problems and the beds are very soft and caused him quite a bit of pain, since there was no support.

The room was very comfortable and roomy (maybe due to the FULL wall mirror next to the bed.

A full breakfast at the nearby restaurant, LewMarNels, was included in the hotel price.

This is a real restaurant and paying customers come as well as those getting a free breakfast with their room.

The complimentary cooked to order breakfast (with orange juice) was a great value at the motel's restaurant.

The free breakfast (at the adjoining restaurant) was one of the best we've ever had.

This property provides a free full breakfast for all their guests at the restaurant on their property.

The front desk staff was not very customer service oriented.

Customer service and satisfaction were clearly not a priority of the front desk staff!

The staff was great, from the manager (Eric) to the front desk staff, to the cleaning crew.

Jacuzzi is pretty nice, i didn't drink the coffee and the pool is wonderful.

The jacuzzi was warm and clean; the pool: too cold & slightly dirty.

Right from the start, the management,housekeeping and even Bonnie (the hostest with the mostest) were wonderful.

Free high-speed internet access is another added bonus and it works great.

The hotel itself has a clean decent sized pool, great service and the room was very comfortable.

Well located, clean rooms in a quiet setting and the staff was extremely friendly.

If you do not care about room amenities and just was a clean place to sleep, then this might be a good choice, especially if travelling with children.

Our room was clean and nicely appointed with a table and comfortable chairs.

The staff is really friendly, the room is clean and our coffee pot didn't work yesterday AM.
