Best Western Sovereign Hotel Keene

Overall I would definitely refer my friends and family to this location.

The room had a king size bed (the holiday inn express down the block only has queens and doubles).

Guest rooms were recently renovated, with new bedding, carpets and fixtures.

Serious water damage had occurred in our room creating mold & mildew on the walls & ceiling which had been haphazardly covered up w/ some caulk & paint in the entryway & bath.

Guest rooms were recently renovated, the wireless connection was flawless and breakfast bar was very good.

The room wasn't clean, nor was the bath; it wasn't possible to close the drapes - the list could go on and on.

The free breakfast from the in-house restaurant was actually a nice hot buffet that included eggs, bacon, fresh fruit, yogurt, dry cereal and even waffles.

Staff was helpful in locating places around town, the service was better and our room was not dirty.

The only thought I might have for the very different reviews is that perhaps the staff really preps the hotel for the busy pumpkin festival weekend.

Not a bad place, the lobby area was nice and the staff was always very helpful and courteous.

The indoor pool is just off the courtyard and it was spectacular.

The seating in the pool area was actually lawn lounge chairs and not those dingy white plastic chairs you see most often.

There were also 3 laptops in lobby for general use.

Wireless Internet connection worked fine.

I wiped up the bathroom floor, but it was completely spotless.

The room was older and the hotel could use some updating, but at least it was clean and the service was great.

Additionally the room was spotless, the breakfast was free.
