    Nicely located, hotel is in excellent location.

    The Sea Island Inn is located in downtown historic Beaufort, the location is perfect and the really nice thing about the breakfast is the atmosphere.

    The location is wonderful, the town is charming and the hotel is located in the middle of the historic district of Beaufort.

    The location is excellent, the Sea Island Inn is located on the main drag in the historic district of Beaufort and the continental breakfast is standard chain hotel stuff-juice.

    The hotel's best point is location, across from the undergoing renovation Waterfront Park, and proximity to restaurants and stores.

    The location is very convenient, the hotel rooms are so clean and price is good compared to the very upscale bed.

    The room was excellent - a comfy king bed; nice, up-to-date furniture; clean and spacious; good-sized dorm fridge.

    Bathroom was clean and well lit, but when you flush the toilet it sounds like a depth charge exploding.

    Great king bed with nice linens and six comfy pillows.

    The staff was friendly and helpful, the rooms were cheerful and comfy, all the food was very good.

    Excellent beds and delicious meals at the many restaurant choices.

    The hotel is located in the middle of the historic district of Beaufort (pronounced Buford), within easy walking distance to shops, restaurants and the marina.

    The continental breakfast left a little to be desired.

    Very close(like 2 blocks) to shopping, restaurants, and the bay.

    The mattress was great and the continental breakfast was unbelievable.

    Pleasant and helpful front desk staff, room size adequate.

    Several of the employees including what I assumed was the manager (late middle aged male)seemed to lack basic customer service skills.

    The staff that we encountered were helpful and friendly, though one desk person was indeed on the phone conducting some business other than a reservation as I waited several minutes to ask him a question.

    The front desk was helpful, and a nice guy.

    When I asked about the rate the young man at the desk told me I could make a reservation at the computer in the lobby.

    Neat little pool area and a really good value.

      The Good: Nice location and there's a wonderful little park. Additionally first the good stuff and motel in the historic district. Staff was great, the rooms were clean and the continental breakfast was one of the best I've had before.

      In the historic district, good restaurants within walking distance and location is absolutely fantastic. The hotel itself is nothing too fancy and the beds are comfortable.
