  Location to the river and Lewis and Clark trail.

  Excess water around swimming pool.

  Hotel is in a good location, close to the Missouri River. It is easy to find, convenient for travelers and within a 5 minute walk to a Children's Discovery Center. The room was ample size for our family of three and daughter enjoyed the centrally located in door pools.

  The room they gave us also had an exterior door facing a huge lawn area in the back of the hotel. Very reasonably priced, private, and quiet. The room was large, and decorated nicely.

  Pool was great, decent room service selections and the common areas looked well maintained. Room was a nice size with a desk, chairs, it was clean, furnishings looked new, TV had plenty of channels and the bathroom had newer fixtures. Our room was on the first floor and had a back door that opened to the parking lot where we had the car. Only negative was the check-in--both staff members weren't that friendly, offerred nothing about their property, amenities, pool or suggestions on where to eat.

  We ended up with a poolside room, which accounted for the dark part. We didn't bring swimsuits, but the pool looked GROSS! The main bathrooms by the restaurant had an out of order bathroom stall during our entire stay. And other good meal was a balsamic chicken breast with wild rice.

  Staff friendly and helpful and the room was clean. That being said, the heater didn't work in my room on the first night and it took several inquiries to get it resolved.

  Also, as apparently the case with all Best Westerns, when you book on line your Gold Crowne Club number is not part of the reservation record!

  The rooms were basic and clean, and even came with rags for "cleaning guns, boots and dogs".

  I really enjoyed the pool & Spa. Room was clean and comfortable. I could go out my back door, down the stairs, and I was at the Pool!
