On the whole the hotel is reasonable value for money although I would look elsewhere when I next visit.
Nice hotel for the money and good service.
This is a nice small place with a big hotel price.
I chose this hotel from the reviews on Trip Advisor and although it had slightly too much swirly carpet for my liking overall it was a great value short stay.
Has free underground parking, well located about 8 blocks from the wharf area and good location you can't afford to stay on the waterfront.
The location was ideal for exploring Monterey and the nearby Carmel.
Pretty good location in terms of proximity to touristy attractions, but we wouldn't stay here again.
Only the foot steps on the floor above were noticed.

Very spacious, our room had a king bed, cable tv in an armoire, desk, table with two chairs, small refrigerator tucked away in a cabinet, and lots of empty floor space which came in handy.
Very large, comfortable room, balcony, fireplace, dining table, comfy king bed, but NO air conditioning.
We booked a room with a fireplace and a kingsize bed.
The room was spotless and a very comfortable bed.
The best part was (There was 3 of us) we got a corner room with 2 Queen size beds - much bigger than the other rooms.
Breakfast was a choice of bagels/cereal/fruit - much appreciated after the super-size breakfasts we'd had earlier in the week!
Just a minus, the breakfast: not really a great choice of food and drinks.
The breakfast area was tiny and very crowded - so it wasn't all that comfortable and was just the basic food items.
The staff was friendly, high speed Internet was an easy connect and the continental breakfast was pretty basic.
