Best Western Mission Bay San Diego - 圣迭戈

All to say that I was not looking foward to staying at this location but I thought I would make the best of the situation to avoid a legal battle with Booked.net ( I will NEVER use them again).

The location is a bit noisy, but it's close to shopping and within walking distance of Mission Bay Park.

I knew that the hotel was known for being a family location so I purposely called ahead of time and asked to be on the third floor.

The carpet was wet within a 6 foot radius of the sink area - and the baseboards were rotted in that area, so it's been going on for a while.

We had one of the best vacations, even if we did get ripped off by cab drivers.

Room 319 was one of only about 3 rooms containing a king-sized bed.

The room was a decent size for the two of us and the bed was decent.

The furnishings were dated, but the bed was comfortable & the room had a fridge & microwave.

All in all I found the staff very friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and the bed wasn't bad.

It was very clean and obviously renovated so the bathroom tiles were clean, toilet working and clean, beds comfortable.

We have 2 teenage boys so the continental breakfast saved us a little money and the refrigerator and microwave allowed us to buy snacks and keep restaurant leftovers.

There's a nice Best Western there, and you are right near shops, restaurants, and nightlife.

My partner, who can never turn down a free meal, reports that the continental breakfast consisted mostly of cereal, watered down orange juice, unwatered down juices (apple and passion fruit), and packaged yogurt.

The breakfast they serve in the morning was average but plentiful.

The advertised continental breakfast was just that - a continental breakfast-that means no hot foods, just breads, peanut butter, jelly, butter, pastries, cereal, milk, coffee and juice.

The place was quiet and the reception staff were friendly.

The front desk staff were courteous, obviously renovated so the bathroom tiles were clean.

If you need a decent place to sleep with all the conveniences (free parking, free microwave, free refrigerator, free breakfast, swimming pool and jacuzzi) for a reasonable price, this is it.

The rates are great if you don't mind having to park your car in the parking lot next door, sleep on thin, uncomfortable mattresses, swim in a dirty pool and hear lots of NOISE.

Yes, the pool is in the middle of the parking lot but nobody is in the lot if you're swimming in the middle of the day.

Also the free wireless internet was great.

I was also apparently misled by the clerk told me that they didn't have Wi-Fi when I asked, because the other reviewers complimented that feature.

The rooms were clean, the pool was excellent.

Stay almost exclusively at Best Westerns, the staff were unbelievably friendly and for the price we found the rooms to be clean.

The hotel room was clean and everything was in working order.

The hotel was clean and the room was average, but not what I expected for a "Best Western.

Clean family hotel that accepts pets, courteous staff and our room was well cleaned each day.
