Best Western Linton Lodge Hotel Oxford - 牛津

An ideal location close to the centre of Oxford and the Hotel itself is very clean.

Perfect location for us, close to beautiful parks and not a lot - this is a very poor hotel.

Quiet location and the bus stop was a short walk from the hotel on Banbury Road.

Had a nice view and the taxi fare back was reasonable.

Short walk to city centre or frequent buses and the hotel is very comfortable.

The room was quite large with a king size bed and large flat screen tv, and appeared to have been refurbished fairly recently.

I asked the TV repair man/head waiter when he came to our room if he read in bed and how he would cope with the bright lights when one of you wants to read and the other sleep.

Room tiny - could hardly get round the bed.

The hotel is undergoing some refurbishment and our room was very clean and comfortable with a comfy double bed and also a single bed.

The bathroom was decent and bed fairly comfortable.

Whilst here I ate in the restaurant in the evening and for breakfast and the evening meal was very good, however breakfast is served as a buffet, and the hot selection looked very tired, especially the beans and eggs!

In addition, there was a good selection of breakfast alternatives for those who prefer not to eat cooked breakfasts.

There was also hot snacks available in the bar if you do not want to eat in the restaurant.

I did not dine in the restaurant, though the self service breakfast was plentiful and very good.

We ate in the hotel twice, the food on the first occasion ws fine , but it took 3 trips to the bar, by the waitress to establish that there was very little wine available.

Easy connection to the city centre, good value for money and reception staff were friendly and helpful.

Reception staff were only too happy to take care of our luggage once we had checked out; meaning we could do more exploring without carrying our bags around.

There was plenty of parking at the hotel, as many of the guests seemed to be arriving on coach trips.

When we mentioned at the desk that the hotel was badly in need of a makeover, we were informed that it was actually at the end of a face lift!

What was probably a nice front garden is now a car park, but that is an Oxford disease.

They do have free wireless internet, but connectivity was spotty.

Very convenient to town centre - 15 min walk, the atmosphere is very relaxed and i like only the high-speed internet is freeware.

Good location, the hotel staff were very pleasant and accomodating, the rooms were very clean tidy.

Moreover the room felt clean, the restaurant staff were exceptionally helpful.
