from a 4-star hotel you expect a bit more in terms of furnishing and breakfast (old, stained carpet, sofa also had stains, bathroom old and worn, at breakfast little choice and many packaged spreads, etc. not much fresh)

Charming hotel with a breathtaking view of the river and the abbey across it. The breakfast was quite varied, and I enjoyed the fresh rolls and different bread spreads. I found the cozy patio perfect for having a relaxing dinner. The hotel has free Wi-Fi and offers bike rentals. Its location, though away from the town, was perfect for a quiet break in nature. The hotel staff was courteous, and I found the room clean and comfortable.

The hotel does not have many restaurants nearby, and guests have to walk quite a distance to find one. The pillows provided in the room were not comfortable, and I had difficulty sleeping.

We had a small, dark room on the back of the hotel with no view. Room was spartanly furnished. Carpets were full of stains everywhere.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a fantastic experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making sure my room was easily accessible for my mother. The rooms themselves were pleasant, clean, and comfortable, providing a luxurious stay. One of the highlights of this place is its great location right on the banks of the Danube. It's perfect for bike trips and there's even a Danube beach nearby. The hotel also has a beautiful garden where you can relax and unwind. the service, comfort, and location of this hotel were top-notch.

I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay.

Very good breakfast (mainly for the jams and bread). Good meals. The room was provided with all needed things, and the bathroom was large and comfortable. Staff have been very kind and friendly. The hotel is in a very good position, expecially if one has a car or a motorbike.

The conditioning and ventilation plant was quite noisy, and also working at night. It is not a bad idea to bring a pair ear-plugs. Not a real problem anyway. The window was lacking a net against insects, but I found out that mosquitos were not a problem there.

Second time we visit this comfertable hotel. We visited this hitel one year ago. The restaurant staff had improved their english and the meny was also in written English this time :-) We had 10 points for the food last year, but thsi year we can only give the 7 point. We will return again to this hotel their beautiful location.

We spent our Christmas holidays at this hotel and had a wonderful time. The location is perfect, with amazing views of a nearby landmark, and a beautiful river. The staff was attentive and accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We especially enjoyed the delicious food offered at the restaurant and the cozy setting of the lounge area.

The rooms were a bit outdated and could use some sprucing up. The Wi-Fi was also a bit spotty, which made staying connected a challenge at times.

We loved the stunning view of the Danube and abbey from this hotel. The location near the Danube river and cycle path made it easy for us to explore the Wachau area. The hotel facilities were excellent, particularly the large parking lot and free backpack and umbrella rentals in our room. Moreover, the friendly lady at the reception made check-in quick and easy, and the coffee was a real highlight.

The location of the hotel, right on the Danube and in a small town was the best thing. The food is fantastic!!
