  When we arrived, the motel did not appear to be busy, but we had to wait 10 minutes for an employee to acknowledge our presence at the registration desk. I asked to inspect the room BEFORE accepting it. The electronic lock would NOT work (even the desk clerk could not make it work), but a passing maid showed us the “secret” of operating the worn-out lock. The room (although out-dated and poorly maintained) was acceptable, despite several problems:. The hair dryer was missing (maintenance told us that the “guests” STOLE everything not nailed down, but did manage to find my wife another hair dryer). There was no “shade/cover” on the light fixture in the bathroom.

  The answer from the girl at the desk was, there was no maintance person at the hotel ,then we were told that they didn't have a key to get a plunger or any tools, no mention of sorry for your incovenicne and lets change the room nothing just wait. 2006 balloon festival, it seemed as though the staff was very lazy and gave a very bad image for Best Western.

  Anyway, the good thing about this hotel was that the beds were very comfortable. We have the best luck with beds being comfortable at all Best Westerns we have stayed in so far.

  Was directed to get to our room from the back of the hotel which when we dragged all our luggage to the door, it was locked. The bathroom tub was rusty and they had painted the parts of the tub that had worn off. We had to pull the bed away from the wall to plug something in and found a treasure of trash.

  The BW rooms are large and the beds are okay but the overall condition of everything is rundown.

  The wireless internet is mostly unuseable, the electronic doorlocks only work occasionally and the very nice indoor pool/hot tub is rarely open because of maintenance problems. The free hot breakfast (in the restaurant) is well done but not very diverse.

  The only good thing I can say about this motel is they have a good breakfast.

  I used to stay here faithfully, but things are breaking and not being repaired, ie: the internet, hot tub, and bathroom tub drains.

  Made reservations over the internet and relied on photos and descriptions of the property. As I made my way up the stairs, to my 2nd story room, I became aware of a foul odor. I entered the room and turned on the air conditioner. The ceiling had brown stains were water had obvisouly been leaking fom the room above me. When the air conditioner was off, the odor went away.

  The one good thing about the hotel was the breakfast - other than than, I would not recommend.

  Service at the front desk was not acceptable. The pool (advertised as heated) was extremely cold while the hot tub only a few degrees more.

  Our room had a filthy bathroom, old bedding, and a dirty carpet. The advertised wireless Internet did not work in our room or in the lobby. The shower only rained out scalding water unless you turned it all the way to "hot" - very counter-intuitive. The bed frame was sticking out and I cut my leg. The maitenance fixed the bed, but left the mess.

• Besides the little wear and tear on the furniture, the room was spacious, clean with a good reception of cable t. The nice plus about this motel is that Ranch Kitchen is right next door and we enjoy their friendly staff and good food, try the Indian Taco. This restaurant also has a non-smoking room which we found great.

  As others have said the motel is dated somewhat, but I thought the room was very spacious and very economical.
