Motel styled accommodation offering a reasonable sized room, good sized bed, TV, coffee/tea facilities and bath/shower.
Our room was so small you could touch the walls while laying in the very uncomfortable double bed.
Room had strong musty smell, bed squeaked.
Upon arrival my friends were shown to a room with two double beds with one window onto a dark hallway.
Both bedroom and bathroom were in need of redecorating.
The hotel is located on a main road close to out of town shops and restaurants but some distance from the lakes.
Additionally the continental breakfast was adequate and this pool was kept at a comfortable temp.

Booking in was a painless exercise and the price included a continental styled breakfast with reasonable choice of cereals and pastries.
There is a restaurant though it was pretty empty most of the time.
The staff on the front desk were very friendly and helpful, hot tub were wonderful, the price included a continental styled breakfast.
The city of Penticton were great and the staff were most helpful and courteous.

Also included is a childrens play area and small swimming pool.
The pool however, was the best part about the whole stay.
The first pool is outside surrounded by a large courtyard.
Most important was the complimentary wireless internet access, a must as my wife and I were travelling on business and needed regular communication back in the UK.
I am now at the Penticton Lakeside resort is great, the tub felt like might have been clean and the first pool is outside surrounded by a large courtyard.
The best western in Penticton was great, other than the *staff* member that was suppose to clean up and the bedroom did get pretty hot.

The sink wasn't cleaned and the tub felt like it might have been clean with grit left around the tub.
I called front desk and asked that someone come and clean the bathroom and the maintenance guy came in, sprayed the sink and pulled out the used facecloth and that was it.
