BEST WESTERN PLUS Hotel & Restaurant

By far the best western in mankato, the entire staff was friendly and the bed was very comfortable.

The bathroom itself was smallish and you had to hold the lever down on the toilet to flush and it seemed like there wasn't very much pressure there when it did finally flush.

On a positive note, the bed was comfortable enough, or else I was just too tired and managed to fall asleep.

There was food left in the refrigerator from the previous guest and a cleaning cloth left in the bathroom- we asked for extra pillows and were told their was a pillow shortage- our sister's room had a leak in the ceiling.

We got in late so we shrugged it off and went to bed.

We were given coupons for a buy-one-get-one drink at the bar (which we didn't use) and also coupons for the restaurant for breakfast (we did use).

We did use the coupons to eat at the restaurant the next morning and were given a few selections to pick from, or we could have used their continental breakfast that they had set up in a nearby room.

However, the restaurant was a very nice touch to be able to get a hot breakfast for free or a couple additional options at a reduced price.

My room was clean, the restaurant provided good food at very reasonable prices and the check-in went fine.

Good games, Massive pool, Very freindly staff, dining room was ok, Conti breakfast was excellant.

When we got up early the next morning we left the light on as we rushed out the door so that housekeeping would see the problem and fix it.

The hotel did have high speed internet, but it was not wireless.

However there is an unsecured wireless network that is somewhat nearby, otherwise you will need to bring your own ether net cord.

Clean place, great Service and the bathroom was spotless and sparkling.

The pool area is very nice, the customer service great as they will go out of their way to help me and the rooms are very clean and comfortable.
