Best Western Hotel Mondschein is a four-star hotel occupying a fabulous house of Innsbruck´s oldest row of buildings which have the status of historical monument. It is few minute walk to the medieval old town and the city tower.

This hotel has been owned by Ischia family since 1976 but dates back to 1473 when it was just a fisher-hut.

Hotel possesses 31 wonderful guest rooms with contemporary equipment and stylish furniture.

For business meetings, seminars, trainings and other events there is a conference room up to 30 people. It is fitted with a good contemporary presentation equipment.

The hotel staff are lovely and great restaurants are just across the bridge.
Desk staff are welcoming and making the room feel even more spacious.
Secure parking is available about 75 meters away you are ready to negotiate the one way system leaving, staff very helpful on parking & to visit and wife loved the stary sky in the room.

Getting there

Arrival by car: take motorway A12 coming from east or west or motorway A13 coming from south. Exit Innsbruck-West (79). Next crossing turn left (direction "Zentrum" city centre). Next crossing turn right (street name: Innrain), appr. 1.5km straight on. Turn left and cross the bridge (name: Innbrucke). Hotel is situated to the left after the Innbrucke on the right hand side.

Arrival by train: the main train station is 2km away from our hotel. Getting from the train station to our hotel is easiest by taxi (takes appr. 7 minutes, costs EUR 7,00) or take public transportation (bus line A, D or E or tram nr 3, takes appr. 15 minutes).

Arrival by plane: Innsbruck airport is 3.3km away from our hotel. We recommend a taxi (takes appr. 12 minutes, costs EUR 10,00) or bus line F (takes appr. 20 minutes, get off at bus stop Congress/Hofburg).

To the airports of Munich (200km) and Salzburg (190 km) transfers by airport taxi are available (appr. EUR 40,00 for one way, EUR 70,00 for round trips).
