Best Western Great Northern Inn Havre

And Havre is a funny town - don't forget to visit the underground city!

The staff was excellent--they switched our rooms to be in the same building as the pool as soon as they saw the kids without us having to ask.

The pool was a little cool for my kids, ages 2 and 5, and their 4 and 7 year old cousins, but the hot tub was big enough to splash around in and warm up again.

Noise was not a problem for us, we did have a room on the front side (but we're used to trains).

The room was huge and the free breakfast was good.

The staff was very courteous and helpful, our room was very spacious, breakfast had a good varity.

The free breakfast is an excellent deal and is well stocked with much more than just donuts and pastry like many continental breakfasts serve.

I'm big on fruit and protein for breakfast, and Great Northern has a great selection for every picky eater.

If you are getting a hotel for the pool, I'd go with AmericInn, but this is a close second thanks to the breakfast and service.

The pool depth is good for the 5 and 7 year old, though--they could touch for about half the pool.

However, the kids didn't seem to notice it, and the casino was sealed off from the pool so that the smoke didn't reach us.
