Best Western French Quarter Landmark Hotel New Orleans - Nova Orleães

The location was OK at best and all this hotel was a great experiance for us.

What it did have was charm (the staff will remember your name if you're there for more than a night & go out of their way to make your stay a comfortable one), a great location (walking distance to everything but far enough away from Bourbon St.

Perfect location and this hotel didn't have all of the bells.

The shuttle to the airport is $15 PER PERSON AND MUST BE RESERVED 24 HOURS IN ADVANCE, the only catch is that can't guarantee it.

Although it didnt seem bad, everyone said the same thing, rather than risk it, we took a $5 taxi ride.

The bed was the best I ever slept in, staff was awesome at recommending restaurants.

The beds were clean & comfy, same for the bathroom.

The room I had was much smaller than the one pictured with a tiny bathroom, one chair (roll-around desk chair), no armoire.

When I inquired about the difference in the rooms I was told that "a room such as that pictured on the website may be available for a higher price".

The photo on the website is one of a very nice room with comfortable sitting chairs, armoire, table, desk, nice sized bath.

The biggest problem was no restaurant, no bar (still being renovated), the ice machines were broken and the soft drink machine is all the way down in the parking lot.

During our stay both the restaurant and lounge were not in operation.

Breakfast is good and the French Market is like a giant outdoor flea market.

Even if you do bump into a few drag queens heading to the gay bar on the corner.

There's a great jazz bar on one corner, a cool spirituality store on the next block, & a gay/lesbian friendly bar that serves great bloody mary's on the next.

The front desk staff is very friendly and accommodating.

THE BEST PLACE TO STAY IN NEW ORLEANS and the front desk staff were very helpful and friendly.

The hotel staff were extremely helpful and service otherwise was polite and efficient.

This hotel is lovely, the staff here are very accommodating.

The courtyard with pool was definitely an oasis of peace and tranquility.

The lift was very small and kept closing on us as we tried to get in.

Check-in was fine, but the elevator held only 2 people at a time, with 1 bag each.

The staff was very helpful and professional, my room was very clean.

Furthermore the staff were excellent and our room was clean.

Staff were helpful giving directions and the rooms were very clean and nice and cool.
