Modern hotel, suprisingly well appointed for the price I paid and the service was very slow.
The location was just perfect as we wasnt in the hustle and the level of desing was good compared to other local hotels in same price range.
Not wanting to pay the extortion that is charged in August in Edinburgh, we booked this hotel.
Great location and the nearby bus service is excellent.

The location was perfect only a short bus ride into the city and they made you feal very welcome.
It's a £11 taxi to the airport and I thought it was great stay.
For a faster trip, and more economical with a family, a taxi from the airport to the hotel is 12 pounds.
Though rated three star, our room was well above that; it had a REAL king-sized bed, a flat panel TV, a new bathroom and a wonderful view.
Rooms were nice and clean, bed was comfy and room temerature was really nice.
My room had three single beds, TV, wardrobe closet, and a large bathroom.
The room was clean and the bed very comfortable.
Complimentary wine & apples on arrival (apples replenished daily), large flat screen TV and huge king-size bed.
Breakfast was plentiful and tasty, as was the bar food and the restaurant meals were beautifully presented and delicious.
I had a bar meal of fish and chips which was ok and arriving downstairs the next morning, the breakfast was hot (although the plates weren't!
Didn't eat here at all though the restaurant and bar areas looked nice.

The room was spotlessly clean and appeared to have brand new carpets, furnishings, linen etc.
The pool and changing rooms were very clean too; the pool perfect for adult swimmers though may be a problem for families with young children who can swim unassisted as the pool was 1.
