I thoroughly enjoyed my big room with comfortable beds and free WiFi and a nice view. The breakfast was particularly nice as expected with scrambled eggs, juices and also waffles. The hotel was adjacent to the airport shuttle and the subway stations nearby.

I rarely write reviews, but the City View Inn deserves it. This place has become like a second home for us. The staff handled a minor wifi issue with such professionalism and care, I was thoroughly impressed. The management and staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The rates are reasonable, the staff is wonderful, and the building's architecture is worth the price of admission. Plus, the ample parking is a rare find in the city. This place is the whole package.

Breakfast a little less full than I'd hoped for.

Big room with a large television, a DVD player and big closet for an excellent stay for a nice weekend. Good and perfect location relatively close to Pepsi Cola Sign. Also, to a park on the east bank of the East River.

I had a pleasant surprise during my stay at City View Inn. The room was clean, spacious, and had a stunning view of the city skyline. The complimentary breakfast exceeded my expectations with a variety of options including yogurt, cereal, waffles, bagels, donuts. The shuttle service to the subway station was convenient, and the driver was friendly and helpful. The hotel was also very quiet, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. I had a great experience at City View Inn and would definitely stay there again.

The man who welcomed us was very nice, he even offered us a ride back to the metro! The quality/price ratio of the hotel is honest.

Breakfast lacks a little "healthier" food like fruit.

Luxurious penthouse-like bathrooms, spacious and well-decorated rooms, efficient AC/HEAT system, fluffy pillows, good breakfast options, clean and comfortable accommodations.

There was nothing I didn't like.

The room was large and very clean at a good price.

The desk manager "claimed" our reservation had not been received and they did not have a room for us. They were exceptionally unhelpful until pushed.

The location is not too bad, just a 15 minute walk to a subway station. The room was spacious and clean.

The lady at the reception was very grumpy. The elevator did not work.The breakfast was only served until 9am.

I recently stayed at a hotel that had a comfortable bed and a decent breakfast. However, there were a few downsides. There were no eggs, the room smelled of cigarette smoke, and it was a disabled special room that I didn't request. The staff were not helpful either, as they had a strong smell of weed and didn't address our concerns about the cigarette smell. Despite these issues, the wifi was easy to access and had fast speed. The hotel also provided a shuttle to and from the subway station, which was convenient.

It was easy to get to and find by car, had good access to subway line 7 to times square, the breakfast was convenient.

Our room #104 had bedbugs, and we were bitten during the night. (We saw one on the doorframe in the evening, then in the morning saw some on the wall near the headboard, and found fresh bloodspots on our sheets. We were careful to keep all of our luggage away from the beds and floor, and laundered everything on return home.) We understand it is a problem in New York City, and not related to the cleanliness of the hotel, but we also know how difficult it is to clear an infestation.
