We enjoyed the spacious rooms with hot tubs and found the prices to be reasonable.

Nice breakfast, with lots of food. The room huge and well-organised, bed exceptionally comfortable. Accommodating affable staff, decent location close to events at the fair ground.

Outdoor pool was already closed, although it was still very hot at the beginning of September.

The hotel's cleanliness and marvellous location made my trip to Carlisle a nice experience. I truly enjoyed the pleasant staff. The breakfast meal was very very good. I had a bright, fairly quiet room with a hot tub, top sheet, and a view of the garden.

Variety of goodies for breakfast. Particularly good location, within short walking distance to everywhere. Nice pool, parking onsite.

Homely and roomy accommodations come with a hot tub 🛁 and a lovely garden. The decor gives off some serious 80s vibes.

The mattresses are old and need to be replaced. When my husband & I laid down we both rolled into the middle. The wake-up call button was broken so I spoke to someone at the desk requesting a 6:00a.m. call. No one ever called. The two days that we were there we were gone all day and each day when we returned our keys didn't work-we were locked out of our room. Each time we had to walk up front to have it fixed. On the second day when I told the front desk person that I was annoyed that this kept happening he did not apologize but rather said that it must have been something that we were doing to cause it to happen. When my husband stated that neither of our keys worked and they were kept in different places he just shrugged his shoulders. Other visitors were loud at night. When I told the desk person at check out about all of our issues, again I did not receive an apology. Nothing but a blank stare. Save your money and go elsewhere. Old outdated building with very poor customer service.

The rooms here have hot tubs and the breakfast is really good and included in the stay.

The location

The room needed a good cleaning The dryer in the laundry facility didn't work.... After I wasted $3 on it. And the room smelled & activated our allergies. Also before 7:00am a dog in a room next to ours starting continuously barking & it took several guests complaining for the staff to do anything.
