I would highly recommend the hotel for service, price and location.
I would recommend the Bruntsfield as a good value hotel; try to get rooms on the back annex to avoid any traffic noise.
Central location Pleasant area to walk out in evening, the Hotel is nicely located and front desk staff is kind and helpfull.
Nice location near park, a short drive and close proximity of a couple of good restaurants.
Very good location for city centre, i found the hotel very comfortable and welcoming, staff were all friendly and helpful.
You can walk into town but if your lazy like me and my husband or easily tired like my folks I would advise a taxi which the hotel can book for you and it costs very little.
The city centre is within walking distance but we opted to use the local bus which came by every couple of minutes.
The bedroom was excellent, with a bath and luxury bathroom/smellies, plus comfy bed and satellite tv channels.
We were very comfortable & had a look at a family room had full sized beds as opposed to a sofa bed, breakfast was good value for money.
The room was spotlessly clean, large bed and large bathroom.
There was no trouble changing rooms and we were moved to an even bigger one with a double and a single bed.
The room was amazing, especially the bathroom which has his'n'hers sinks, a free standing bath with views over the city.
Spacious and comfortable room, pleasant bar, the food was great for breakfast.
The hotel is nicely furnished with a quiet lounge and a lively bar and restaurant.
There is a bar in the basement which was full (including non-residents) and was not relaxing - better to have a drink in the lounge or restaurant.
On top of that, I had a really good dinner in the hotel restaurant and breakfast the next morning was also very good.
The Bisque restaurant served excellent quality breakfasts and dinners.
The Bruntsfield is clean, helpful staff both at the front desk and the beds are so comfortable.
Quiet location, nice decor and all the reception staff were very helpful.
The receptionist was really friendly nad helpful, as were the other staff.
The staff at the front desk were very helpful, we were able to check-in early and leave our luggage until late at night on the day we checked out.
Car parking is tight but a space can generally be found for you.
We took advantage of the spa inside the hotel and had a wonderful stay.
As a musician, I was coming in around 2am every morning and had no problems parking.
The room was nice and spacious, the hotel was very clean, and breakfast was delicious.
