The prices were very reasonable, and when you factor in what you get, I would say this hotel is the best deal in the area, not just in Boppard.

From the antique furniture in the public areas, the amazing old elevator, the gorgeous dining room and the wonderful hotel suites the whole place is just graceful, charming and beautiful.
The restaurant is very good and the breakfast is terrific.

The position on the river was lovely, the restaurant named Le Chopin in the hotel was one of the best we have ever eaten at and front desk staff was also great.
Offers amazing views of the meandering river, elegant decor and superb service both at reception.
Extremely helpful we accidentally missed our stop, decades of tradition in this originally family owned hotel and front desk staff was also great.
The downside to this hotel is the lack of welcome particularly from the reception staff.
There is a pool and spa but I haven't used it - did look in and it looks very nice.
The sauna and pool were a great place to relax after a long day of walking.
Our huge room, with the fantastic breakfast and use of the pool and sauna, came to £225 (333 euro) for the weekend.
Cosy hotel facing the Rhine, helpful staff and the room was lovely and spotless.
