Best Western Hotel San Marco Venice - 威尼斯

The location was fantastic and the service helpful and friendly.

The location was perfect, hotel staff were helpful and would have been fab the terrace furniture was clean.

Excellent position, just minutes away to the Rialto and the location of the hotel was great.

We got into the water taxi and we had concerns, because we had been told how expensive water taxis were.

It was a bit of a struggle hauling our luggage from the water taxi station (up and down a few bridge steps).

Room had king bed, large bathroom and another smaller single bedded room for a triple.

On the positive side: The rooms were clean, nicely furnished, TV and Shower were working properly and the bed was comfortable.

The kingsize bed and linens were very comfortable and the bathroom, very clean.

As we never went to bed until at least 11 PM room noise was no problem.

Large bathroom with shower over bath, toilet, bidet and twin sinks.

The breakfast is pretty good, and we loved the hotel bar.

I wouldn't rely on the restaurant for lunch/evening meals though.

The snack food is OK but you can get much better quality meals at the numerous restaurants in the area.

Breakfast was a real dissapointment and we found that each day we left food as it was stale.

The breakfast was unaccetable for our taste: Consisting almost exclusively of preserved food.

The breakfast in the morning was good, and the staff was nice except one guy at front desk, but whenever he was unhelpful, the manager would stick his head in and tell him to give us what we wanted.

When we checked in, the front desk staff asked what we wanted to see in Venice.

The front desk staff kept to them selves (I'm sure to some it may seem unfriendly) but I was in Venice.

Found front desk staff to be helpful and friendly, providing kettle etc when asked and allowing us to store luggage both on arrival day and all of departure day as we had late flight home.

The downside is that there is one elevator and the maid and cleaning staff used it as well.

2x2 elevator and run threeflights of stairs to catch the because there isent enough room for people and their bags in the lift.

Don't miss feeding the birds in San Marco Plaza and DO take the elevator up (for a small fee) to the top of the tower in San Marco Square, especially at twilight.

Staff was very friendly, rooms were clean.

Room was spacious and clean, also the breakfast was really good for the price.
