This is a very nice hotel in a great location almost under the medieval city wall.

Let me tell you that from the beginning this hotel is a class act and also in the best location in Tallinn.

As I see it, there is not ONE hotel with better location for a tourist (two short blocks to city square, restaurants all around, and large shopping center 300 meters away).

Tallinn is a walking city and we did not use transport other than from and to airport.

Bus Number 2 runs twice an hour from outside the airport and drops you in the new town outside shopping centre.

When we came back (around midnight), we noticed that the bed area in our room smelled a lot like tobacco.

Rooms are very clean and beds are extremely comfortable.

The rooms were kept clean and if you are provided with a room on a higher floor, are very quiet.

As everyone has mentioned the location cannot be beaten, the hotel is slap bang in the middle of the old town and the views from our room (junior suite top floor) were fantastic over the roof tops.

Our room was very large but quite basic, the fridge did not work properly and the bathroom was in need of a bit of an upgrade.

Beer at the bar was cheaper than all the restaurants we visited with the cheapest at less than £1.

Meals were also well presented and reasonable and the breakfast was really good value with a good variety.

Breakfasts are excellent and the adjoining pub is reasonably priced for food and drink.

Good places to eat are the Beer Hall, Kompressor student bar (absolutely fantastic, huge savoury and sweet pancakes for £2.

For a casual drink and great bar food try Hells?

The staff was extremely friendly and always willing to help us with every thing we asked for.

All in all, an average 2 night stay, but not due to the attitude of the staff who were very pleasant throughout.

We were very impressed with this service at that hour and at this price level.

The personnel was attentive and does try, but somehow lacks the hospitality and charm you would expect.

The rooms, while quite plain, were clean and on par with the best hotels in Estonia.

I found the rooms to be clean and comfortable but very small.

    The views from our room were fantastic over the roof tops, great Hotel stayed for 3 nights and the staff was extremely friendly. Furthermore bathroom was good, breakfast was a huge disappointment.

    The old town location can not be beaten, good places to eat are the Beer Hall and warm and the staff are friendly. The rooms are large, great bar to start the nights of and the drinks are very cheap.

    The views over the old town were fantastic, our room was on the backside the hotel entrance was so was quiet and the reception staff spoke excellent English. Furthermore breakfast was fine.

    2 minutes from the main square has a great position, superb value and the staff was extremely friendly. The room was only adequate and the food were of a good standard.

    The location is fantastic as is a 2 minute walk to the main square, tallinn is well known for stag nights and rooms are very clean. The restaurant is good.

    Tallinn is a fantastic city you have to embrace the themed restaurants for a and the best thing about this hotel has to be 's location. The tea making facilites in the room didn't provide milk, great bar food try Hells.
