Located in the historic market town of Romsey, minutes walk from the Stately home of Broadlands and Romsey Abbey, Berties a historic building in its own right and has easy access to Southampton, Portsmouth, Winchester ,Bournemouth and Salisbury. Individually decorated and with each bedroom having its own character and all en suite, the rooms offer spacious airy and comfortable accommodation, tea trays, hair dryers, and televisions as standard. Housed in a beautiful old Georgian building, the function room at Berties was previously the dining room of the residential property number 78 The Hundred. It has a large bay window and an original Adams fireplace offering space and versatility as well as something quite unique

          Breakfast was average.

          Bad bathroom-no hot water, bad mattress and bed, TV unwatchable, very poor!!

          I would never stay at Berties again. We were charged A#100 b&b when booking direct to then find rooms on internet for A#65. The mattress was so cheap and uncomfortable-springs very noisy. TV unmatchable as bad reception. the bed squeaked every time we moved. No shelf in bathroom. Curtains broken. Thin walls i.e. noisy neighbors. No hot water-we had to leave the hotel feeling very grubby! Bathroom was very basic and old fashioned- no proper shower. Do not stay here!!
