Easy access to city centre and the hotel is situated in an excellent location close to the train station.
Well situated, the location of the hotel is really good.
The location of the hotel is brilliant, as it is very close to all the sights of Bern.
The hotel is well situated in the old town, not too far from the train station, with a public car park only a 3 minute walk away and public transport very close by (not that you really need to use it in central Bern).
You can get to this hotel via tram or after about a ten minute walk from the Hauptbahnhof.

The only fault that I could find with the room layout was that the flat screen TV was not centred with the bed and you couldn't pivot it.
The rooms were very clean and the bed was comfortable.
I have booked a superior room with an extra-bed for my child.
The extra-bed that they put in the room was so hard that it was impossible to sleep there!
Good restaurant and more than adequate breakfast.
We also had lunch and dinner at the hotel (privately catered for, not the restaurant) and the food was beautiful!
The breakfast buffet had a good variety of food.
There are several restaurants and coffee shops within a short walk.
The breakfast was quite good - a good range of food and replenished frequently.

The staff attentive and friendly, the lighting.
Staff is very nice and efficient, always a new bottle of mineral water in the fridge.
I would say that the hotel staff overall came across as a little indifferent.
Small Christmas treats at the elevator.
Fruit baskets are provided by the lift on every floor - a great idea.
Also apples were available as you come out of the lift, however the bin next to the lift was full of half eaten fruit which smelt a little and attracted a pack of fruit flies.
Staff were friendly and our room was very clean.
