The location of the hotel is perfect for exploring the nearby Wolfgangsee lake. You can easily catch a boat on the huge lake from the hotel's vicinity. the hotel backs onto a peaceful river, providing a serene and tranquil atmosphere. The rooms are well-furnished with comfortable beds and offer a stunning view of the sun setting over the Alps. The breakfast and evening meals are delicious and well-presented.
The hotel lacks free Wi-Fi, which is a disappointment in this day and age where it is expected to be readily available.

Landgasthof Weissenbach, where you can eat, is a short walk to the hotel. We loved the fact that we chose bergrose. We park our car on site. Best base for a city break in Strobl:)))

We had a fantastic stay at this luxurious 4-star hotel. The location here is simply breathtaking, nestled in a quiet area right on the shores of a huge lake. We had an amazing romantic escape at a charming Austrian hotel. The breakfast served every morning was truly delicious with freshly baked bread and fragrant coffee. The swimming pool area was perfect for chilling out after a long day exploring the surroundings. The room was comfortable and clean and had a balcony with stunning views of the surrounding mountains. The hotel's location was great for accessing nearby attractions and public transportation was easily accessible.
