The hotel was in a good position just off the beachfront, and huge wide river.

Nothing, no complaints at all.

Everything was wonderful, yet we stayed for 7 nights only. Actually, the room was clean and perfect, it also had shower facilities, a hair dryer, and a bidet. The cocktail bar was nice.

Free parking by hotel provided. A nice size and fully-equipped units with a huge balcony, the garden, for example.

it was clean with really helpful and competent staff especially the receptionists. the marvellous breakfast had plenty of meals and the food i tasted was local.

We were in a magnificent location within easy walking distance of Bentota Lake.

Magnificent location, within 15 minutes walk to Ventura. Efficient staff especially the receptionists, fully-equipped rooms with a double bed.

Fashionable and perfect room with a lot of space. All in all nice and best possible setting close enough to the ocean, the train station and the river and the sea.

Nice styled and reasonably large rooms with all the amenities, TV, the garden and marvellous breakfast. Favourable location, easy walk to everywhere.

Beautiful beachfront hotel with incredible pool and grounds. Good variety of food at buffet area. Sports facilities available although showing signs of age. Great place to view a beautiful sunset. Railway station nearby for easy transportation. Helpful and friendly staff. 3 pools and big kids play area make it ideal for families with children. Renovated and very clean.

hotel needs an urgent renovation. Bathroom was dirty, mold/grime between bathroom tiles. Room was not very nice, needs urgent update. Swimming pool is ugly and the grounds around the pool are un-kept, weeds and grass growing near pool and mud everywhere on the ground.

The quiet, the beauty of the very well-kept grounds and pool, the ocean and river views. The cleanliness of the room, the friendliness and helpful intentions of the staff. The beautiful buffets, spa and other facilities on the grounds including a gym, free wifi. There was a lot to like!

I was sorry the ground level restaurant was closed to hotel patrons due to a special group using it the whole time we were there. The buffet was gorgeous and delicious, but priced quite a bit above what I usually feel comfortable paying, especially the Sunday breakfast. We did use room service, the bar lounge and pool side eating places which were nice enough, less expensive, but had very limited vegetarian options. The spa was beautiful, relaxing and a very pleasant experience, but again, the price was far above what I would expect in Sri Lanka. I would have used it more often if the prices had been a bit more reasonable and realistic. I was sorry our room safe wouldn't close, and that our room refrigerator wouldn't open.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel in a beautiful location on the coast. The best aspects were the spacious rooms with comfortable beds and a great view of the garden and pool area. The breakfast buffet was one of the best we had during our trip, with a massive amount of options to choose from. We also loved that the hotel was just a short 5-minute walk to the beach. the cleanliness, hotel facilities, and staff were all top-notch. Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.
