The Hotel Belvédère occupies the best location in Wengen. As Wengen is a virtually traffic free resort the hotel is absolutely quiet at all times of the day and night. The village centre and the Männlichen cable car is just 3 minutes and the railway station and children’s skigarden 5 minutes walk away on virtually level ground. The Hotel Belvédère offers an incomparable view of the Jungfrau massiv, the Breithorn chaine and the whole Lauterbrunnen Valley.

The bedroom was old fashioned but comfortable and had a balcony.

Would highly recommend this place (and try for a south facing room - you won't regret it!

Evening meals in the restaurant were lacking in choice but great value for money at 25CHF per person, compared to eating out.

Afternoon tea and homemade cakes were complimentary and superb and the breakfast was brilliant with the freshest of bread and homemade jams.

The Belvedere was a lovely quirky place, with staff who couldn't do enough for you - a real change from the usual faceless hotel chains.

      The Belvedere was a lovely quirky place, with staff who couldn't do enough for you - a real change from the usual faceless hotel chains. The bedroom was old fashioned but comfortable and had a balcony. Afternoon tea and homemade cakes were complimentary and superb and the breakfast was brilliant with the freshest of bread and homemade jams.
